Secondary

The secondary school is divided into two grade levels Junior and Senior High. Junior High consists of grades 7 – 8 while Senior High consists of grades 9 – 12. The two levels will share the same facilities. Credits are earned toward high school graduation in grades 9 – 12. One full credit reflects the completion of one full Carnegie unit.

Grades

Grades for students in 7th-12th are tracked using Engrade an online grade reporting system. Parents can login to the Engrade site and check the progress of the students. Other important information form teachers and administration will be posted on the ECA Website so parents and students should check the website on a regular biases.

Report cards are issued for 7th – 12th grade at nine-week intervals. They will be distributed by ECA Family e-mail for junior/high school students. The only hard copy sent will be the final report card. Progress reports will be sent home via e-mail in the middle of the nine-week grading period so that parents can further monitor their child's progress and work to overcome any deficiency before the nine-week grade becomes official.

Evangel Christian Academy utilizes the following standard for determining grades:

80 – 89 B
70 – 79 C
60 – 69 D
0 – 59 F

Conduct grades will also be given according to the following standard:
E – Excellent
G – Good
S – Satisfactory
N – Needs Improvement
U – Unsatisfactory

Advanced Academic Diploma

In order to graduate with a Advanced Academic Diploma, a student must satisfactorily complete the following course work/credits with a cumulative minimum 2.7 GPA:
