State Weight Lifting Competition

15 kids participated in the State Weight lifting competition at Pickens Academy Students that placed were:

  • James Truitt- 4th place 175lb weight class
  • Thor Kilgore – 4th place 220 lb weight class
  • Richard Reynolds – 3rd place 165 lb weight class
  • Anthony McElheney – State-Runner up 242 lb weight class
  • Keiwan Lee – State-Runner up 275 lb weight class
  • Anthony Williams – STATE CHAMPION 165 lb weight class

Basketball Champions

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Teams! The boys team is the state Champions in the 2A Boys division. The girls team is the State Runner-up.

Congratulations to both teams!! GO LIONS!

2012 Baseball, Softball & Track Schedules

The 2012 ECA Baseball, Softball & Track Schedules for both JV and Varsity has been posted on the Baseball Page, Softball Page and Track Page. Mark your calendars and come out and support our ECA Athletics.

Evangel Summer Program

Evangel Christian Preschool will be offering a summer program for the ECA K-4 and K-5 classes. Summer programs are a big help to working parents, and your child can benefit from the activities offered in our programs. Full-time and part-time programs will be available.

  • Tuition: Payments are due on Mondays
  • Cost:
    • 5 Full Days: $110.00 Per Week
    • Part-Time: $95.00 Per Week (3 Full Days or 5 Half Days)
  • Tuition includes lunch and two snacks daily.

The summer program operation hours are 6:30am - 6:00pm. We cannot and will not keep children longer than 10 hours a day.

Report An Absence

If your student is going to be out, parents are asked to call the school office or e-mail us at . If you are certain that your child will be out more than one day, specify the days. Parents of absent students will be called if the office has not been notified beforehand to account for all students. Students who are absent for less than three days should contact another student for their assignments or check the homework page of the website. Students who are absent for more than three consecutive days may contact the guidance office on the third day to request missed classwork and assignments.
