Evangel Christian Academy's elementary department is comprised of grades K4 through Sixth.  ECA provides the highest quality instruction, grounded in Biblical truths, that thoroughly integrate knowledge, faith, and experience, balancing the varied needs of the growing child.  The elementary teachers provide classrooms where students feel safe, successful, and loved while establishing a consistent discipline plan.  During the daily Bible lesson students build on their understanding of Christianity using the Word of God as a tool to develop godly character and to understand how God works in our lives.

 ECA chooses to use ABEKA curriculum in all subject areas while supplementing with other curriculums in order to give the students the best education.  Early on students develop reading skills through the application of phonics, comprehension skills, and individual practice.  Students read literature that is true to Biblical principles, contains character-building themes, and appeals to young readers.

 ECA and our faculty places great emphasis on the building of a strong foundation in both Reading and Mathematics as well as  Science, Social Studies, English, and Spelling. 

 In addition to our core subjects, students are enriched through specialized instruction in Computer Sciences, Library Skills, Music, Art, and Drama which enhance the physical as well as spiritual being of the student.

 ECA students are offered many extra curricular activities to participate in such as Cheerleading, Show Choir, Drama, and state-wide competitions, all of which help to build self-confidence, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.
