Welcome to the fifth grade.  This is a challenging year of growth and change.  Students are maturing and dealing with new challenges.  It is my desire to guide them through this exciting time in their life, and to instill the truth of God’s word in their hearts.  We will learn about many men and women who made an impact on the world.  I hope that throughout this year I can make a positive impact in my student’s lives and encourage them to do the same in their world. 

We will travel to Egypt, Rome, England, Scotland, and many more exciting places and meet many exciting people (all within our history book, of course).  We will design an ad for a local company, write and illustrate our own story and have it published in a class book, and construct a solar system model.  These are just a few of the objectives we will accomplish this year.  Have a wonderful year, fifth grade!
