MEMBERSHIP

Membership has been divided into two categories; participating and non-participating.  The only difference between the two categories is that participating members are families with students participating in one of our varsity or junior varsity team sports. 

Membership for participating families is mandatory in order for the student to participate in athletics and the dues amount will be $25 per student participating in sports (not per sport, but per child).  Why is there a mandatory dues cost?  There are a number of direct costs associated with fielding a team that include travel expenses, field and court maintenance, equipment, officials…just to name a few.  This money will be used to offset a small portion of these direct costs.

Membership for families without a student participating in varsity or JV sports is optional but highly encouraged and the dues amount for these families is free.  Why is it free?  We realize that just because you do not have a participating student does not mean that you do not have an interest in the well being of our athletics program.  It is in all of our interests to have the best athletics program we possibly can, not just for this year but for the years to come.  Because so much of the work accomplished by the boosters is volunteer driven, the more families we have involved, the more we can accomplish.  This membership is also available to alumni and friends and extended family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) of both participating and non-participating ECA families.

GAME ADMISSION

The cost of admission to each ECA home varsity and JV game this year will be $5 per person for everyone 6 years of age and older.  Admission for children 5 and under will be free.  There may be some events (tournaments, double headers, etc) at our school that could cost $7 per person.  We will make every effort we can to notify everyone if and when these special events occur.

All ECA students will be allowed free admission to all ECA sponsored home games provided they have their student ID with them.

All ECA Booster Club members will have the option of purchasing a season pass to all ECA sponsored home games.  The cost of a season pass will be $35 and will allow admission for one person to each home game provided they show the pass upon admission.

Please be aware that our volunteer staff cannot possibly know every student and Booster Club member at ECA.  If you do not have your student ID or Booster pass, be prepared to pay the cost for admission.

POSSIBLE QUESTIONS

My student’s grandparents would like the season pass but do not want to join the booster club even though it is free.  Can they do that?

Yes, they may buy a season pass without joining the booster club.  The cost is $35 per person. 

My brother’s family is coming into town.  Can he use my wife’s pass to get into the game?

Yes.  The pass will allow the bearer admission to any home game regardless of who purchased it.

I don’t have my pass with me.  Is there any other way I can get in the game?

You’ll have to pay the regular gate price.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Everyone will have the opportunity to join the Booster Club beginning at the school orientation on the 9^th of August.  We hope that many of you will decide to do this as athletics add so much to school identity and spirit.  It is an important part of the fabric of our student’s education that will be a part of their life for the rest of their lives.
